Number Series solution
A number which given a particular pattern throughout the
series. It is thereby required to identify the given number pattern, complete
series or find wrong term in series.
There are some pattern are used as bellows:
- A. Increase some number fixed.
- B. Decrees some number fixed.
- C. A and B both.
- D. Square of terms.
- E. Square root of terms.
- F. Multiplication of any number.
- G. Tack difference of difference called triangle pattern series.
Triangle pattern series:-
In such series, the difference between the consecutive terms
of series, again from a series. The difference between the consecutive terms of
the new series so formed again forms of series. This pattern continue still we
attain a constant between the consecutive terms of series.
Example:-
4 18 48 100 180 294 ?
The first difference is +14 +30 +52 +80 +114
The second time difference is: +16 +22 +28 +34
The third difference is: +6 +6 +6
So, the terms is 34+6=40
We need to increase 40 to 114.
40+114=154.
That’s value to be add to 294.
294+154=448.
