Sales Management system

The Sales Management system is a complete Sales Management Software capable to manage all the functionalities of a medium scale retail store by keeping track of each sold product by generating its bill.

There are only two end users of the system: the Administrator and the Sales Person. Both the users have access to different modules as per the access rights assigned to each.

The main objective of sales management system is to make this system user friendly. In this system all the data inserted by the administrator and the bills generated by the Sales Person are stored in SQL server database. So the administrator can easily retrieve the data.

The project is based on storage and retrieval of data from the database, and analysing the stored data.
This is a web based sales management system utilizing the latest advancements in information technology to provide improved mechanization thus helping the administrator to manage the system in a proper manner.

Sales management system is a complete workflow management system that's designed to improve accuracy and efficiency of the organization. It enables the following:-

  •  The most urgent concerns of medium scale retail store today – improved sales management, item management, improving customer relationship, – are all managed efficiently in one package.

  • Its main aim is success of the organization through analysis of sales.
  •  Enhancing the customer satisfaction levels and retain customers by giving offers such as discounts, adding products which are demanded by customers.




The main objective of this document is to illustrate the requirements of the project sales management system. The document gives the detailed description of the both functional and non functional requirements proposed by the organization. The document is developed after a number of consultations with the project partners and guide and considering the major requirement specifications of the given Project.
